Goal for 2010!

1. Complete my bedroom re-do (including painting and decorating)
2. Paint the vanity in the kids bath and complete it.
3. Have an organized, but still cute laundry room.
4. Hang stuff on Jackson's walls.
5. Complete the curb appeal to our house.
6. Read more of my Bible that I do now.
7. Spend more time on the floor playing with the kids than I do worrying about
the mess they are making.
8. Aim to workout more than just at the start of the new year.
9. Start school in August
10. Go somewhere I have never been before.
11. Scrapbook!
12. Potty train Emma
13. Make Julia Child's Beef Bourguignon
14. Write someone a letter. (done 1.22.10)
15. Get my tattoo!

Welcome to my house....

I love Christmas, and most of all I love to decorate for Christmas!!! using items that I had around the house I was able to spruce up my entry way a bit for the holidays.

I am so ready for Christmas I can't stand it. I have all my shopping done minus my mom but that will be easy. I have a whole list of items that I want to bake for our party on the 19th

Julie & Julia

This past weekend, my sweet husband let me pick a chick flick to watch what a sweetie! With no kids for the weekend and the Christmas shopping done and before the last min. I may add we sat down to enjoy a wonderful movie. Julie & Julia I loved it. If you can watch that movie and not get inspired to cook that you have to be the worst cook ever. I would love to have the french cookbook by Julia Child, if anything to make Beef Bourguignon, JD says why, it looks like beef stew to me......what does he know.

I love how a movie can inspire you to do something. Like when you watch Save the last dance, you want to become a dancer, or The wedding planner you want to become a world famous wedding planner and then there is Julie and Julia, I wanted to just get up and cook. I did make covered pretzels (I'm sure Julia Child never made them, to easy) and I made from scratch Homemade mint patties, my Grandma Hamilton's famous secret recipe.

I know I will never become a world famous wedding planner or Chef, but it is nice to dream about it.

Merry Christmas to all...

Last night I decided that we needed to take the kids pictures for christmas cards because I was not sure when i would get around to it, and I like to have my cards mailed out soon.

Jackson and Emma are getting so big, I know I say that all the time, but they really are! Emma does everything that her brother does and its so funny if Emma does anything bad Jackson is the first to tell her that santa is watching her! This whole santa thing is AWESOME! we have been able to use that against Jackson so many times in the past month when he throws a fit, and he changes his attitude real fast.

Master Bedroom re-do

I have wanted to change the look of our bedroom since we bought our house in Oct of 2006 but was unable to decide what I actually want. After much searching and thanks to Beth for having great google skills we were able to find a picture of the idea that I have had in my head this whole time. So below is my inspiration for my new master bedroom I hope within the year I will be able to complete the most important task to making it happen.....painting.

my babies.......

Wow, looking at pictures I see how much my babies have changed in the past year. Emma will be turning 2 in Jan. I can not believe that 2 years ago I was pregnant with her and would be having her 6 weeks early. She was so tiny at just 5lbs 9oz she is now a 28lb ball of sassy-ness!!!










And then Jackson, that boy is so smart he picks up on thing so fast. I think he knows more songs than I do, and just an overall great brother to Emma. I really dont know what I will do when he starts Kindergarden............

Thanksgiving lunch with the kids

Today was a great day I was able to enjoy a wonderful Thanksgiving lunch with Jackson and Emma at the day care. Being at the day care i realized a few things:

1. I will never work at a day care!
2. My children are GREAT, compared to most
3. I will NEVER work at a day care!!!

Only 30 days until Christmas Eve. I have been itching to get my Christmas decorations out of the atic and up and I can't take it anymore!!!! I hope my Thanksgiving guest dont mind some Christmas decorations. LOL

For those who know me I love the time 11:11 what could be better than the date 11-11
What is behind 11:11??? Since I was a little girl a wish was always made at 11:11 some have came true and some, Im still waiting.... One of my biggest wishes, to lauch an event planning company called 11:11 Events, could not have picked a better name if I do say so myself. Things are slow moving, way slower than I would like. When things move slow it makes me start to question my dreams. Is event planning for me?? I do know that accounting is not for me! but where do I belong? I hope to be back into school by Aug 2010 and moving in the right direction, not sure what that is yet but I know when I find it I will be happy. Please keep me in your prayers and your 11:11 wishes. So last night Jackson and I were watching TV just the two of us, and he looks at me and smacks me on the forhead with the palm of his hand and says "dork stamp", I laughed so hard, wow were do boys come up with the crazy things they say?

Bad Day!!!!

Ahhhhhh what a crappy day I have had. Sometimes I think, what am I doing at work? would people miss me if I was gone? sure they would because if i wasn't here they would have no one to do all the crap work that no one wants to do. Days like this make me look forward to the day that I can tell them to stick it! OK enough venting I need to get back to work.

ahhhh what an un-fun weekend I had, starting labor day weekend emma gat sick and so almost the whole time at the lake was spent indoors. Then Friday sept 11th Jackson came down with the crud and so i spent another weekend indoors with my kids. Rooms seem smaller when you are stuck inside. Thankfully the Dr said within 72 hours he would be back to his old self and he is..... but now JD has it LOL

Table Rock Lake - Labor Day 2009

What a wonderful weekend at Table Rock Lake in MO. Jackson and Emma had a ball! We also meet Jameson a cute boy from Hatai that my uncle Jim brought to the states to have surgery on his ears. Jackson and Jameson really hit it off, they are buddies for sure!!

Dentist appt for my big boy

Jackson had his first teeth cleaning today and did great!! He hopped right into the chiar and opened his mouth big and wide!! She cleaning and flossed his teeth no problem. Jackson was really excited that he got 2 stickers and 2 toys out of the toy chest. Bad news he did have one cavity so we have to go back at the end of the month and have that taken care of but I think he will do good then too.

Im getting there....

2 weeks ago I contacted DJ Connection of Tulsa, one of the largest DJ business in Oklahoma. I spoke to the ower and after their review of my website, 11:11 Events was listed as a recommended wedding planner on their website!!! This to me is one step closer to getting my name out there and clients coming in. I pray that with-in the year I can see opening up a store front in Claremore where I would work as a wedding planner full time.

Please keep me in your prayers that this may happen!

JD is learning how to play the guitar and Jackson thinks he needs to learn as well. I guess it is true, like father like son! Jackson is turning into a little man its so funny to watch and see what new things he has picked up and how much he is growing!

Emma is doing great if you seen her and didnt already know she was a premmie you wouldnt be able to tell. She is still not talking but I question if that is a bad thing or not! She is my little princess, even though she is not to fond of wearing dress or letting me fix her hair but we are getting there! She is 1 1/2 now time flys........

Fathers Day 2009

Fathers Day 2009, got up went to church, great serive and then we went to Olive garden, yum yum! Jackson made his daddy a tie in childerns church I didnt think that JD would actually wear it but he did, what a great dad! I love my family!

WOW really not alot to see or do there. I think it took us a whole 5 mins and the kids were ever ready to go, but now we can say we have been there and we have pictures to prove it. LOL
