I spy with my little eye....

I spy with my little eye......

...a cat in my tree

I guess I should have know that she would make her way into the tree. I will have to say she looked really comfy in there too.

Apple Pie time

I have to say I am so proud of my first attempt ever to make an apple pie.
OK so the crust came in a box thanks to pilsbury, but the filling did not come pre made!
I pilled and cut up the apples and added all the yummy other stuff that goes inside.
Was it good you ask??? Heck yeah it was, what are you thinking!

Thanksgiving Lunch with my kids!

Great food and memories I will have forever.

Best Pumpkin pie EVER!!!!

Recently I found out that I am allergic to dairy, talk about life coming to a screeching halt! I have found a few things here and there that I can still have and I was completely surprised at the amount of things contain a milk ingredient.

With Thanksgiving fast approaching I have been racking my brain trying to think of holiday favorites I can enjoy that are dairy free.
Pumpkin pie is a favorite of mine but one main ingredient is dare I say….Milk.

So I have found the next best thing……..

Mix 2 boxes with 2 ¾ cups of almond milk and pour into a dairy free gram cracker crust, let it set up and ENJOY!!! Talk about heaven.
Jello mix can also be mixed with regular milk and a combination of milk and cool whip, I bet that is tasty. All recipes are on the box.

Where do you find this jello mix? Check your grocery store backing center, it sales fast and is a limited time item so stock up when you find it!

Enjoy!

An early visit to see Santa!

Why is mom sitting on santa's lap you ask? Because Emma was scared to death of the white haired cubby man dressed in red.

Jackson on the other hand was all about it.
He also inform me that he was the "REAL" santa!

Sweet like sugar, but stings like a BEE!!!!

WOW, what a sweet little bumble bee I have!!!!!
Where is Jackson you ask, ha that boy doesn't sit still long enough to take a picture.
Emma is another story she loves to have her picture taken you just better hurry up and get it taken before she changes her mind.

Well Halloween is over we are onto Thanksgiving and I am itching to get my Christmas stuff out of the attic and strung through the house.
Can I hold off until the day after Thanksgiving, we will just have to wait and see I am guessing..... NO

My little boy is going to school!

Why does my baby have to grow up?
I ask him all the time if I can keep him little forever but he is quick to tell me NO!
I guess I need to give in to the fact that he is not a baby anymore, its just so hard.

Jackson and his preK teacher, she loves him already!

Jackson found his cubby!

Update

WOW are we seriously almost done with July, were has the summer gone?
Many things have happend in the past few months, I took on a new job, took on as in added it to the one I already had doing AP stuff. The change happened 9 weeks ago tomorrow and I am sad to say that STILL no pay raise or word as to when it will happen.
I am swamed at work with the 2 jobs combined and so my energy level at home and on the weekends is suffering from it. I have a family reunion coming up in Aug that I need to get prepared for considering I got volunteered to host all of the games. I have home projects that are in need of my attention but they will have to continue to wait. I get home at 530, cook supper, bath time watch a little TV and its off to bed, no time to spray paint, deep clean, ect.
What am I doing wasting time blogging? I have work to do..........

Hot July Day

July 10th was a fun hot day.
JD and I celebrated our 6 year anniv. and our nephew turned 18 *tear*
Tonya heard about a cool place only about 30 mins from home with clear cold (50 degree) water
we had to check it out and it was amazing!!! Once we left we were thinking of when we could go back.
if you like in the Tulsa area you have to check out
 Blue Hole in Salina OK.
Cost $5, no beer allowed a great family spot. Pack a picnic and make a day of it.
Shallow water for smaller kids like mine but there is also a cliff jump for older kids.
Ridding the fall
Ridding the current
Jackson and Emma with Uncle Brandon and Aunt Tonya
Tanner and all of his friends
Mommy and Jackson
Bubbles are a great lake toy. Who cares if they spill, and the kids can blow until their little hearts content.
